I finally sorted through the high heels. About 50 pairs may be worth saving and trying to sell, and the remaining 130 pairs (?) will end up in a theater, costume shop, art studio, or the dump. Seeing the Light
The dumpster is gone, seven tons of metal are scrapped, and all the trees are trimmed. Now we can see the topography of the yard and enjoy more sunlight near the big oak and the boulders.
We got rid of old paint, oil cans, and batteries at the Vista household hazardous waste collection center. They were not exactly thrilled to see how much stuff we had... but they took it anyhow.
Now the question is what to do with all the shoes?
